Job summary

TAG International is seeking a Senior International Development Manager to join the Security & Resilience team in London with international travel. The role combines programme leadership, client engagement, technical oversight and business development across a varied portfolio.

You will manage complex programmes, develop solutions and strengthen TAG’s market position. You will lead teams, engage with government clients, and contribute to bids, while ensuring high standards of delivery and

Qualifications

• Significant programme management experience in international development, government or security.
• Technical knowledge of international development and transnational threats (e.g., counter-terrorism).
• Experience delivering complex programmes in international environments.
• Experience working with UK or other government clients and partners.
• Record of contributing to winning new work and client accounts.
• Experience writing or evaluating donor/government technical proposals.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex international programmes with budgets, timelines and performance targets.
• Provide day-to-day oversight including contract compliance, financial and risk management.
• Build trusted relationships with clients and partners as primary contact.
• Provide technical input, quality assurance and oversight across delivery.
• Lead or support activities across reporting, monitoring and lessons learned.
• Recruit and coordinate technical experts, consultants and delivery partners.
• Identify and address delivery, financial, commercial and legal risks.
• Develop opportunities with existing and prospective clients and bids.
