Job summary

Proximie seeks a Data and Information Governance Lead to sit at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and data. You’ll collaborate with hospitals, health systems, and governance boards to unlock trust for Proximie’s platform scale.

You will build playbooks, frameworks, and relationships across product, engineering, security and commercial teams, with direct access to senior leadership. This global role covers UK, Europe, US and Middle East hospital relationships and offers high visibility

Qualifications

• Direct experience as a DPO or IG lead within healthcare systems (NHS or equivalent).
• Strong working knowledge of UK GDPR and data protection in practice.

Responsibilities

• Own information governance engagement with hospitals and health systems globally, leading DPIAs and data flows.
• Manage subprocessor governance and DPIAs across all regions.
• Maintain regulatory documentation and country-specific compliance records.
• Be the practical GDPR contact, escalating legal risk when needed.
• Support NHS frameworks including DSPT and NHS data access policies.
• Develop repeatable DPIA playbooks and AI governance templates.
