Job summary

Picture More is seeking a Senior Data Governance Manager for a global law firm based in London. You will define and lead the firmwide data governance strategy, focusing on legal and matter-related data to drive better legal delivery and commercial insight.

You will own the data governance framework, ensure data accuracy across client, matter, financial and operational domains, and collaborate with partners, lawyers, finance, risk, and operations to drive data-led decision making.

Qualifications

• Strong background in data governance and master data management.
• Deep understanding of legal operations data (matters, billing, time recording, profitability).
• Experience with data models, reporting tools (Power BI) and SQL.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define and embed a global data governance and data management strategy.
• Act as the firm's senior authority on data quality, ownership, and standards.
• Lead master data management across core systems (PMS, CRM, finance, billing, time recording).
• Collaborate with legal teams to improve matter, client, and profitability data.
• Translate legal practice needs into practical data and reporting solutions.
• Drive data quality, controls, and behavioural change across the firm.
• Support reporting, analytics, and data-led decision-making.
