Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Data Eng, or related field.
• 3+ years in data engineering or large-scale ETL.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python/Java/Scala.
• Experience with Spark, Hadoop, Flink and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Familiar with Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery; Airflow/Luigi.
• Strong data security, governance knowledge.
• Fluent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement robust data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Build scalable storage and retrieval for multi-market datasets.
• Ensure data quality, compliance with regulations (GDPR).
• Collaborate with data scientists and product teams.
• Implement monitoring and automation to reduce downtime.
• Contribute to the data infra roadmap for JD.com global ops.
• Work onsite in London, UK.
