Job summary

Conrad Consulting is partnering with a leading global consultancy to deliver hyperscale data centre projects across the UK, EMEA and APAC. They seek an experienced Procurement Manager to lead client-side procurement for construction, MEP, equipment and services.

You will own the end-to-end procurement process, collaborate with partners and suppliers, and ensure strategies and contracts align with programme, commercial and risk requirements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in construction or engineering procurement/commercial roles.
• Experience managing tenders from RFP through to contract award.
• Experience with PMC, main contractor or hyperscale/colocation owners.
• Strong data centre or mission-critical project background.
• Experience procuring MEP packages and long-lead equipment.
• Knowledge of NEC, FIDIC or JCT contract terms and client terms.

Responsibilities

• Own the procurement process from RFP through to contract award.
• Develop procurement strategies, tender docs and evaluation criteria.
• Review bids, attend clarification meetings and manage bidder queries.
• Evaluate tenders for compliance, value and risk and report weekly.
• Maintain procurement schedules against construction programmes.
