Position Summary
The Global Country Access Specialist will be responsible for the overall planning and execution of international flights, maintaining high attention to detail, focus, and adaptability to our dynamic flight schedule.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Submit and manage applications for airport slots and PPRs (prior permissions requests), landing, parking, and overflight permits for all flights.
- Manage requests for ground handling services, fuel, crew visas on arrival, and other ground arrangements.
- Assist in arranging catering, ground transportation, and hotel accommodations.
- Coordinate customs/immigration processes: General Declarations, APIS transmissions, outbound/inbound clearances, and crew visas on arrival.
- Ensure crewmembers and passengers meet all entry requirements for countries visited.
- Provide external agents with all aircraft documents necessary for trip planning.
- Verify aircraft eligibility for international flights.
- Coordinate scheduled flights safely and legally.
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
- Interpret and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Arrange crew hotels and transportation internationally as needed.
- Monitor weather and other events impacting aircraft operations.
- Research flight and service deviations.
- Report any non-compliance or safety/security issues.
- Make rapid safety, regulation, and operational decisions.
- Communicate all international flight details efficiently and timely.
- Notify relevant teams of unforeseen situations or changes affecting flights.
- Provide excellent customer service consistently.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience and training; or equivalent.
- Dispatch License and Business Aviation knowledge are a plus.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Legal right to work in the UK.
- Knowledge of international operations, customs/immigration, airport access, weather, and ATC flow.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
