Job summary

Global Law Firm (Glasgow) is seeking a Corporate Associate to join its bustling team. The role focuses on advising clients on corporate matters and private M&A, with exposure to a broad range of jurisdictions and sectors in a truly international platform.

The successful candidate will handle day-to-day transactional work, manage client relationships and draft essential documents, while coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and contributing to business development and client service excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience advising on corporate transactions and M&A matters.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
• Experience with SPAs, disclosure letters and shareholder/JV agreements.
• Direct client-facing experience.
• Commercial awareness and sound judgement.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Taking day-to-day responsibility for transactional matters with appropriate partner support.
• Managing client relationships and acting as a trusted adviser.
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating key transaction documents.
• Leading workstreams and coordinating multi-disciplinary and multi-jurisdictional teams.
• Supporting business development initiatives and identifying opportunities for growth.
• Delivering practical, commercial and solution-focused advice to clients.
