Job summary

HSBC is seeking an experienced Events Manager in Global Corporate and Institutional Banking Marketing to lead the end-to-end delivery of global events and sponsorships across in-person, virtual and hybrid formats.

You will work closely with global, regional and local teams to ensure events meet priorities and deliver engaging client journeys while tracking outcomes. Strong governance, vendor management and data-driven improvements are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in marketing or event management, ideally in banking/financial services.
• Ability to deliver high-quality events across in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats.
• Experience managing budgets, governance, and supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of global events and sponsorships from briefing to post-event evaluation.
• Shape client journeys across invitation, registration, onsite/virtual experience and follow-up.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to align events to priorities and objectives.
• Coordinate agencies, suppliers and partners to ensure quality and value for money.
• Maintain budgets and documentation including logs, trackers, and risk records.
• Apply toolkits and governance updates to improve consistency and efficiency.
• Prepare materials for governance bodies and track decisions.
• Track performance metrics and convert insights into recommendations.
