Job summary

HSBC is seeking an Events Manager for Corporate and Institutional Banking in London. The role focuses on planning and delivering global events and sponsorships across in‑person, virtual and hybrid formats, guiding client journeys and aligning with business priorities.

You will work with global, regional and local teams, manage budgets, and ensure delivery meets commercial objectives while providing clear insights for future improvements. Hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Experience in marketing, event management or related discipline.
• Ability to deliver high-quality events across in-person, virtual and hybrid formats.
• Experience working within governance, risk, compliance, procurement and brand requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end delivery of assigned global events and sponsorships.
• Shape client journeys across invitation, registration, onsite/virtual experience and follow‑up.
• Partner with stakeholders to align events to priorities and objectives.
• Coordinate agencies, suppliers and partners for quality delivery and value for money.
• Control budgets and maintain documentation including logs and risk registers.
• Apply toolkits and drive updates for consistency and efficiency.
• Prepare materials for events governance bodies and track decisions.
• Track performance and convert data into actionable recommendations.
