Job summary

FMH Conveyors International Ltd is seeking a motivated Field Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair conveyor systems and related material handling equipment at customer sites across the UK and internationally. You will work closely with customers to ensure safe, reliable operation and high levels of service.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or related discipline.
• Experience with conveyors, automated systems or industrial machinery.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics and documentation.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and test conveyor systems at customer facilities.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and service inspections.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on mechanical and electrical systems.
• Respond to breakdowns and provide emergency support when required.
• Complete service reports and site documentation accurately.
• Liaise with customers and internal teams to ensure project delivery.
• Provide operator training and identify upgrade opportunities.
• Maintain tools, service vehicles and equipment in good order.
