Job summary

Sage is seeking a Global Compensation Advisor to join our Reward team and help shape fair, competitive and data-driven pay practices across our global workforce. You'll partner with Reward, People and Finance to provide expert guidance and support key compensation programmes.

This is a high-visibility role based in Newcastle with a hybrid pattern (3 days in the office, 2 from home) and a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Qualifications

• Experience in Compensation, Reward, HR Operations or related discipline.
• Knowledge of job evaluation methodologies, salary benchmarking and governance.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into recommendations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert compensation advice to leaders, People teams and colleagues.
• Escalate complex reward queries and manage end-to-end compensation cases.
• Evaluate roles using established job evaluation and levelling methodologies.
• Partner with leaders to deliver data-driven pay recommendations balancing market and internal equity.
• Support salary reviews, bonus cycles and governance activities.
• Maintain high-quality compensation data through audits and controls.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of compensation governance.
