Job summary

Proforest in Oxford is seeking a seasoned Global Communications Lead to shape and deliver the organisation's communications vision across five regions. You will lead a dispersed team, translate complex sustainability knowledge into clear, engaging content, and strengthen Proforest's global brand.

The role requires strategic leadership, stakeholder engagement and strong project management, with a track record of mentoring staff, managing change, and delivering learning or knowledge management

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in communications, marketing or knowledge management.
• Experience in working across multiple cultural backgrounds and diverse teams.
• Proven track record managing teams and mentoring staff.
• Experience in managing change and complex projects.
• Learning and knowledge management experience is desirable.
• Team leadership and line management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead global communications strategy aligned with organisational goals and regional plans.
• Steward brand, narrative and messaging across regions.
• Oversee global digital channels, media relations and internal communications.
• Build communications capability through mentoring and knowledge sharing.
