Job Description:

The Global Commercial Product Manager ensures that the services related to the MDSAP & ISO13485 sector are commercially successful and have long-term viability.

The main responsibilities and purpose of this role are:

  • Manage schemes (Audit, Certification, Training), ensuring they meet market needs and expectations of SGS Affiliates, customers, and scheme owners.
  • Identify trends and opportunities for new products/solutions, and coordinate the GTM strategy with SGS Affiliates.
  • Provide commercial strategy and guidance to facilitate product growth in key regions.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop commercial strategies and business plans aligned with segment strategies.
  • Establish global and local pricing strategies with affiliates.
  • Support marketing efforts to drive business growth.
  • Develop marketing tools in collaboration with the Global Operational Marketing Team.
  • Understand customer and market needs through research.
  • Monitor competitive activities.
  • Support sales, marketing, and business development activities.
  • Participate in scheme owner committees to maintain influence.
  • Coordinate with other Global Product Managers and internal teams.
  • Represent the Voice of the Customer in product development.
  • Ensure safety and compliance with SGS policies and integrity standards.

Qualifications

  • University degree in a relevant field.
  • Proven sales and business development experience within the healthcare industry.
  • Leadership experience in a matrixed environment.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of ISO13485 and MDSAP.
  • Experience in Testing, Inspection, and Certification.
  • Background in quality assurance and auditing.
