Job summary

HSBC, a leading global bank in the United Kingdom, seeks an experienced Cloud & Infrastructure Lead to steer a globally distributed team. You will ensure cloud policy adherence, security controls and stable cloud products across the GFT estate, partnering with Audit, Risk and Control to maintain oversight and delivery momentum.

You will drive governance, engage with stakeholders, and support the Cloud Enablement programme office to deliver measurable progress and resilient cloud services.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of cloud offerings and products.
• Experience in infrastructure management and project delivery including people management responsibilities.
• Excellent analytical skills to understand complex technical and business issues.
• Solid grounding in cloud design and architecture to support delivery.
• Understanding of Cloud FinOps and Cloudability.
• Great communication to build relationships across teams.
• Working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cloud compliance management across Global Function Technology CTOi.
• Manage operational support and stability of cloud products across the GFT estate.
• Lead a globally distributed team of infrastructure FTEs for compliance with Cloud policy.
• Embed adherence to security controls across cloud products and delivery activities.
• Shape approach, align stakeholders and manage commitments and changes.
• Create and track tasks aligned to global strategies and delivery plans.
• Establish relationships with local, central and third-party teams to support delivery outcomes.
• Run governance with team leads to monitor progress against plans.
