Job summary

Discover International seeks an experienced Clinical Trial Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of Phase I–IV trials for pharmaceutical and biotech sponsors. You will manage cross-functional teams from start-up to close-out, ensuring on-time, on-budget execution and high-quality results.

You will line-manage CRAs/CRCs, oversee monitoring plans, and act as the primary sponsor contact for status updates and risk escalation. Strong ICH-GCP knowledge and budgeting experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in clinical trial management within CRO/pharma/biotech.
• Proven line management/mentoring experience.
• Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP and UK/EU trial regulations.
• Experience in budget and vendor management.
• Experience with risk-based monitoring.
• Experience in oncology, rare disease, or cardiovascular trials.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end trial management for assigned studies, ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and to quality standards
• Line-manage CRAs/CRCs, overseeing site monitoring plans and performance
• Serve as primary point of contact for sponsors, providing status updates and risk escalation
• Develop and manage study budgets, timelines, and vendor/CRO oversight plans
• Ensure inspection readiness and compliance with ICH-GCP, MHRA, and sponsor SOPs
• Lead site selection, feasibility assessments, and study start-up activities
• Chair internal and sponsor study team meetings
