Job summary

Catalent Bathgate in Scotland seeks a Global Transportation Manager to lead end‑to‑end UK/European clinical supply logistics. You will partner with Operations, Project Management and Business Development to design compliant, cost‑effective transport solutions and govern courier performance.

This onsite role requires strong stakeholder management and global distribution knowledge across GDP/cGMP contexts. Based at our Bathgate site with occasional travel, you will support proposals, cost analyses

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in global transportation, logistics, and supply chain management.
• Knowledge of global import/export regulations.
• Experience working with third-party logistics and courier providers.
• Understanding of cGMP, GDP, and FDA-regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement transportation solutions for clinical supply projects.
• Act as SME for global transportation, logistics, and import/export activities.
• Manage strategic relationships with third‑party couriers and logistics providers.
• Lead courier governance reviews to drive performance, compliance and improvement.
• Advise internal stakeholders on shipment requirements, strategies and global trade considerations.
• Conduct transportation cost analysis, benchmarking and modelling for proposals.
• Support proposal development, customer meetings and commercial discussions.
• Collaborate with Procurement on courier contract negotiations and cross‑functional initiatives.
