Job summary

Amwins Global Risks in London is seeking a Claims Broker for the North America Special Risks team. You will handle claims from First Notice of Loss to settlement, supporting your Line Manager, brokers, and working directly with Underwriters and Coverholders to fulfil their claims needs.

The role emphasizes maintaining accurate records, timely responses, and building strong relationships with Cheltenham team, underwriters, DCAs, attorneys and clients, while ensuring SLA compliance and data-driven

Qualifications

• Experience in Claims Broking and handling Lloyd’s and company risks.
• Familiarity with Lloyd’s initiatives and Binding Authorities.
• Knowledge of ECF and Xchanging signing process.
• Strong data handling and analytics with Excel.
• Excellent written and spoken communication.
• Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of USA property insurance and regulatory requirements.
• Pursuing Certificate in Insurance or higher.

Responsibilities

• Handle claims from First Notice of Loss to settlement under supervision.
• Maintain a claims diary and ensure SLAs are met.
• Provide loss runs when requested.
• Coordinate with underwriters, coverholders, DCAs and attorneys.
• Maintain accurate records and perform data analytics.
• Support and respond to queries from clients and brokers.
• Monitor loss funds and ensure sufficient funds for contracts.
• Develop relationships with Cheltenham team and counterparts.
