Solventum is seeking a CDI/Coding Consulting Specialist to conduct retrospective chart reviews for hospitals, ensuring completeness, accuracy and compliance with coding standards. You will apply ICD-10 and DRG rules, identify documentation gaps, and transfer knowledge to client CDI teams to strengthen programs.

The role combines clinical coding expertise with strong communication, auditing, and training capabilities, with significant international travel and a hybrid UK work location.

Qualifications

• Minimum Associates Degree or higher in nursing, health information management or related clinical field.
• Valid CDI/Coding Certification preferred and/or 3+ years in CDI or coding in hospital/health system.
• Experience with ICD-10 coding, DRG methodologies, and clinical documentation principles.
• Ability to conduct structured interviews and document audit findings clearly.
• Fluency in English; additional languages a plus.

Responsabilités

• Conduct retrospective chart reviews to assess accuracy and specificity of clinical documentation.
• Apply ICD-10 codes and DRG classification to identify gaps.
• Perform knowledge transfer sessions to educate client teams on best practices in CDI.
• Collaborate with CDI and coding teams, clinicians, and department heads to gather insights.
• Prepare actionable audit reports highlighting gaps, risks and recommendations.
