Job summary

Solventum seeks a CDI/Coding Consulting Specialist to join its expanding international team in the UK. The role focuses on reviewing clinical documentation, ensuring accuracy, and improving coding quality to support DRG assignments.

You will collaborate with hospitals and client CDI teams, conduct structured interviews, and deliver targeted training while maintaining strict data security and confidentiality. Hybrid work is available with extensive travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of CDI or clinical coding experience
• Associates Degree or higher in nursing, health information management or related field
• Valid CDI/Coding certification preferred (CCDS/CDIP) or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Conduct retrospective chart reviews to assess documentation accuracy and specificity
• Apply ICD-10 and DRG knowledge to identify gaps and improvements
• Shadow clinicians and CDI staff to understand workflows
• Prepare clear audit findings and actionable recommendations
• Deliver knowledge-transfer sessions to client teams
