Job summary

AIG is seeking a Portfolio Reporting Manager for Group Catastrophe Risk Aggregation. You will coordinate best practices, drive quarterly reporting for first-party property and specialty exposures, and support regulatory and reinsurance submissions on a group level.

You will lead design of standardized reporting, automate workflows, and work with offshore CoE teams and regional Cat teams to ensure consistent, high-quality output across lines of business.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in an analytical role in the insurance market.
• Strong independence and ability to manage multiple workloads and projects with competing priorities.
• Strong insurance market knowledge, particularly Property and Specialty Lines.
• Experienced user of internal and external vendor models, in a range of applications including portfolio and pricing, as well as internal deterministic scenario-based analyses.
• Programming proficiency including SQL and R.
• Experience building management reporting dashboards using PowerBI or Tableau.
• Understanding of end-to-end underwriting processes and best practices to enhance profitability, data capture, efficiency, and compliance.
• Knowledge of Reinsurance structures and modelling best practices.
• Demonstrated business, analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop standardized reporting in collaboration with global, regional and line of business stakeholders.
• Lead the delivery of new reporting workflows and automation efforts.
• Deliver the group quarterly rollup in coordination with Regional Cat and offshore CoE Cat teams including Post Cat modelling using MetaRisk.
• Assist with delivery of the Budget AAL process with Regional Cat Managers.
• Develop sustainable, high-quality best practices, ensuring documentation is maintained.
• Maintain the Property TVaR Reporting Framework with Regional Catastrophe Risk Managers for consistency.
• Establish strong relationships with regional catastrophe management and actuarial departments and leadership.
• Support the Reinsurance data submission process including validation of Broker analyses.
