Job summary

Merlin Entertainments seeks a Carbon & Environmental Compliance Manager to drive accuracy and governance of environmental reporting across its global estate. You will own Scope 1 & 2 reporting, data validation and performance analytics, collaborating with Sustainability, Finance, Procurement and Operations to deliver meaningful insights.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas reporting and the GHG Protocol.
• Experience handling large datasets with data quality and governance focus.
• Ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
• Proven stakeholder management across multiple functions.
• Experience supporting environmental compliance and regulatory reporting.
• Advanced Excel and data visualization skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Merlin's annual Scope 1 and 2 GHG reporting across 100+ locations.
• Maintain carbon accounting methodologies per GHG Protocol and regs.
• Coordinate collection, validation and assurance of data.
• Manage packaging compliance and EPR reporting.
• Produce dashboards, reports and insights for senior stakeholders.
• Support internal audits, external assurance and regulatory reporting.
• Deliver environmental reporting training and guidance.
• Monitor environmental legislation and assess business impact.
• Support broader ESG reporting and initiatives.
