Job summary

DFYNE is seeking a senior Buying & Merchandising Director to lead the global buying function, owning supplier partnerships, negotiations, range planning, cost optimisation and stock flow. You will build a high-performance buying engine delivering quality, reliability and strong margins, ensuring products land on time and at the right cost.

Travel will be required as you manage international suppliers and factories; excellent leadership and data-driven decision making are essential to drive

Qualifications

• Senior buying leadership experience in a high growth brand.
• Proven track record of delivering margins, cost optimisation, supplier performance improvements.
• Experience managing global supplier relationships and production oversight.

Responsibilities

• Own global buying strategy with supplier reliability and feasibility.
• Lead and develop the buying team with clear accountability.
• Set KPIs and performance standards for buying aligned to commercial goals.
• Drive continuous improvement in buying processes and cost efficiency.
• Lead range planning from a commercial perspective (quantities, costs, timelines).
• Negotiate terms, MOQs, and lead times to maximise margin and minimise risk.
• Manage production timelines and stock flow for on-time delivery.
