Job summary

EMEA Recruitment is supporting a successful manufacturing business in appointing a Business Unit Finance Director. You will partner with the BU Head and senior stakeholders to shape strategy, drive performance and translate decisions into sustainable financial results.

The role focuses on owning the financial performance across a significant global line, driving growth, identifying risks, and delivering measurable outcomes through close collaboration with Sales, Operations and Procurement.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance or Economics required.
• Extensive experience in FP&A, Business Controlling or Commercial Finance.
• Proven P&L responsibility with strong commercial impact.
• Excellent analytical and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of financial performance and P&L for a major global business line.
• Partner with Business Unit Head and commercial leadership to drive growth and profitability.
• Identify and manage financial risks and opportunities with actionable insight.
• Challenge commercial assumptions and support decision-making with robust analysis.
• Collaborate with Sales on customers, pricing, contracts and performance.
• Work with Operations, Supply Chain and Procurement to optimise cost-to-serve.
