Job Title: Global Brand Communications, Ophthalmology & Oncology

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a strategic communications specialist to support global brand and Therapeutic Area (TA) communications. This role involves partnering with business teams to develop data-driven strategies that enhance brand positioning, stakeholder trust, and market engagement. Collaboration with Commercial and Medical Affairs teams is essential to align communication strategies with scientific and commercial goals. Experience in global pharmaceutical branding within a corporate or agency setting is preferred.

Work Arrangement:

Hybrid working model based in the United Kingdom, with a minimum of 1 day per quarter in the office and flexibility to work from home.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead global brand/TA communication strategies and alignments.
  2. Develop and execute impactful external communication plans based on business insights and scientific data.
  3. Create content to support media engagement and elevate brand narratives, including thought leadership.
  4. Provide strategic counsel on communication issues affecting trust and reputation.
  5. Implement internal communication strategies that motivate global teams and align with organizational goals.
Essential Knowledge & Experience:
  • Extensive experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare communications.
  • Proven success in managing global or multi-market brand communication strategies.
  • Ability to translate complex scientific data into compelling, compliant messaging.
  • Leadership experience in dynamic, matrixed environments.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards.
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience fostering collaboration across global teams and building stakeholder relationships.
Education:

Bachelor’s or higher degree in communications, life sciences, business, or related field.

Additional Information:
  • Permanent, full-time position based in the UK.
  • Role requires a blend of home and in-office work, with flexibility as needed.
