Job summary

Almac Group is seeking an experienced business development professional to drive growth for its analytical services across the UK, Ireland and USA. You will identify and secure new opportunities, build strong pharma/biotech relationships and manage the full sales lifecycle from engagement to contract award.

The role involves international travel and collaboration with operations, PM and marketing teams to promote Almac’s capabilities at sites in Craigavon, Athlone and Souderton.

Qualifications

• BSc in a Life Science related discipline or an equivalent qualification in Business Management with pharma experience.
• Experience in business development, sales, account management or commercial roles within pharma/biotech.
• Proven track record generating and winning new business opportunities and managing complex sales cycles.
• Experience selling outsourced pharmaceutical services.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities for Almac’s analytical services.
• Manage the full sales lifecycle from initial engagement through to contract award.
• Build strong relationships with pharmaceutical and biotech organisations across UK, Ireland and USA.
• Collaborate with internal operations, project management and marketing teams to drive growth.
