Job summary

Right Now Group is seeking an experienced Air Export Clerk to join a growing international eCommerce & courier freight forwarder near Heathrow. You will own international airfreight shipments from start to finish, coordinating documentation, airline bookings and overseas communications in a fast-paced environment.

The role offers exposure to international logistics, autonomy, and opportunities to develop within a growing freight forwarding business.

Qualifications

• Experience in air export operations within freight forwarding.
• Ability to manage air export shipments from start to finish.
• Knowledge of export customs procedures and required documentation.
• Experience completing export customs entries and airline bookings.
• Strong communication, organisation and customer service skills.
• Capable of prioritising tasks in a fast-paced, time-critical environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage international air export shipments from booking through to final departure.
• Complete export customs entries and prepare all export documentation (MAWBs, HAWBs, invoices, declarations).
• Issue pre-alerts and shipping docs to overseas agents for smooth destination movement.
• Liaise with airlines, transport providers, warehouses, overseas agents and customers.
• Monitor live shipments and provide regular updates to customers.
• Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and company procedures.
