Job summary

Dexory is seeking an experienced Accounting Lead to own the accounting function as the company scales globally. The role is based onsite in Wallingford and will require a minimum of three days per week in the office.

You will lead UK, EU and US accounting, drive month-end close, consolidate financial reporting, and strengthen controls and processes while managing the statutory audit and external advisors. Ideal candidates will bring 8+ years in accounting/audit, strong technical knowledge,

Qualifications

8+ years’ relevant accounting, audit or financial reporting experience.
Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge.
Experience with financial controls, risk and governance.

Responsibilities

Own accounting across our UK, EU and US entities.
Lead the month-end close, consolidations and financial reporting.
Strengthen accounting processes, policies and internal controls.
Lead the annual statutory audit and manage external auditors and advisors.
Oversee VAT, tax compliance and statutory reporting across multiple jurisdictions.
Support SOX readiness and investor due diligence.
Provide technical accounting input into planning, forecasting and reporting.
Partner with the CFO and wider Finance team on commercial and financial matters.
Lead, develop and grow the accounting team.
Drive automation, systems improvements and scalable processes.
