Job Description

We are recruiting for a Global Absence Lead to join us on a 6-month FTC taking responsibility for leading absence and time off management within our HRIS.

The role:

  • Provide expertise on key absence management business processes, including time off.
  • Monitor project milestones, and risks, ensuring timely delivery and successful execution.
  • Collaborate with regional SMEs to understand regional requirements and ensure compliance with local and global absence regulations and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with holiday policies, statuary leave policies, and other organisational absence policies.
  • Manage other stakeholder engagement as required.
  • Collaborates with technical workstreams on integrations, data, and security.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Absence management, and will manage stakeholders across multiple countries to ensure seamless implementation.

You will have:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of absence management and time tracking issues, HR Transformation, or Project Management.
  • Experience managing projects from inception to implementation in global environments.
  • Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage global stakeholders at all levels, tailoring communications accordingly and driving cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in multinational organisations with complex job structures with the ability to navigate cultural differences highly preferred.
  • A collaborative mindset and working style.
  • Methodical and solutions-oriented, with a strong eye for detail and accuracy.
