Job summary

Zenith Group in Glasgow is seeking a Deputy General Manager to lead the workshop, driving productivity, profitability and exceptional service for our fleet customers. You will work with the General Manager to manage technicians and support teams, ensuring safety, compliance and continuous improvement, and will be a key member of the site leadership team.

Qualifications

Experience leading a dealer, fleet or commercial workshop or similar operational teams.
Strong planning, utilization and performance management skills.
Commercial awareness with budget responsibility.
Experience ensuring health and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

Lead the daily operation of the Glasgow workshop and its teams.
Manage technician performance, utilization and efficiency.
Drive productivity, labour recovery and profitability while maintaining high service standards.
Ensure maintenance, repair and inspection work is completed safely and on time.
Manage VOR cases and minimise downtime.
Foster a high-performing, engaged culture and coach colleagues.
Ensure compliance with manufacturer, DVSA and company standards.
Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and manufacturer reps.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support business growth.
