Job summary

EDF (UK) is seeking an Occupational Health Advisor to join our Glasgow team in a part-time capacity (22 hours per week). The role is based at Atlantic Quay and focuses on delivering proactive OH support to protect colleagues' health and safety.

You will work with OH, HR and Safety teams, requiring an OH qualification and experience in complex case management and health surveillance. The role offers development opportunities and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Occupational Health qualification required.
• Experience in OH including complex cases and mental health.
• Experience with health screening and statutory health surveillance incl. noise, respiratory, skin.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) at minimum.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide OH advice to managers on sickness absence and workplace adjustments.
• Manage complex OH cases and support rehabilitation/return to work.
• Conduct health screening, fitness for work assessments and statutory surveillance.
• Advise on OH strategies, policies and statutory requirements.
• Support mental wellbeing and wellbeing campaigns.
• Act as collection officer for drug and alcohol testing where required.
• Build relationships with HR, Health & Safety and stakeholders.
• Maintain governance, quality systems and audits.
• Collaborate with the EDF OH community and contribute to service development.
