Job summary

Octane Recruitment is seeking a LCV Technician for a role in Glasgow. The salary is up to £46,000 basic with bonus and overtime DOE. Enjoy a Monday–Friday schedule, with Saturdays on a rota, and a strong in-house training plan.

The successful candidate will service and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, with MOT duties if qualified, in a leading UK dealer group environment. NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds Level 3 preferred.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required.
• NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds or Mechanical Engineering Level 3 (or equivalent) is required; Level 2 considered with dealership experience.
• MOT license would be beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles.
• Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair; warranty work where applicable.
• Department of Transport (MOT) testing duties if qualified.
