Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL in Glasgow is looking for a Fire & Security Installation Engineer to install and commission fire alarms, intruder alarms, IP CCTV and access control systems across Scotland. The role is permanent, full-time, with Glasgow as the core site and occasional travel to sites across Scotland.

You will test, fault-find and document work to high standards, liaise with customers and project teams, and ensure installations meet specifications while maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in the Fire & Security industry.
• Strong installation and commissioning experience with Fire Alarms, Intruder Alarms, IP CCTV and/or Access Control systems.
• Good understanding of relevant fire and intruder alarm standards and regulations.
• Full and valid UK Driving Licence.
• CSCS, ECS and/or IPAF qualifications would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and configure fire alarm, intruder alarm, IP CCTV and access control systems.
• Carry out system testing, fault finding and remedial works to ensure installations are completed to a high standard.
• Work closely with customers and project teams to ensure installations meet the required specification and customer expectations.
• Complete installation paperwork, commissioning documentation and site reports accurately and within required timescales.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with relevant industry standards, company procedures and Health & Safety legislation.
• Provide a professional and customer-focused service while representing the company on customer sites.
• Liaise with management and customers regarding any technical issues, project requirements or additional works identified on site.
