Job summary

Mitie Fire & Security is seeking an experienced Fire & Security Minor Works Engineer to join our Glasgow team. You will work on small projects from inception to completion on CCTV, Access Control, Intruder and Fire Alarm systems, delivering world-class customer service.

You will liaise with the Lead Engineer, coordinate with subcontract labour and clients, plan site visits, maintain systems in your region, and attend training and team meetings to continually develop your skills and service

Qualifications

Good all-round knowledge of Fire and Security Systems.
Experience of Fire & Security Installation (min 2 years).
Technical background in electrical/electronic industry.
Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

Liaise with the Lead Engineer on all troublesome sites, including any critical issues.
Work closely with subcontract labour and onsite clients.
Maintain Fire & Security Systems in your region when demand requires.
Plan site visits and communicate with customers and schedulers.
Utilise customer portals as directed by the Lead Engineer.
Support Service Engineers on specific jobs when needed.
Attend training sessions and Engineering team meetings.
