Job summary

HSB Technical Ltd is recruiting a Fire & Security Installation Engineer to cover Glasgow area with occasional Scotlandwide travel. You will install and commission fire alarms, intruder alarms, IP CCTV and access control, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.

The role requires strong fault-finding skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work both independently and within project teams. A valid UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience within the Fire & Security industry.
• Experience with installation and commissioning of fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV and access control.
• Strong fault-finding, testing and commissioning abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and configure fire alarm, intruder alarm, IP CCTV and access control systems.
• Carry out system testing, fault finding and remedial works to ensure installations are completed to a high standard.
• Work closely with customers and project teams to ensure installations meet the required specification and customer expectations.
• Complete installation paperwork, commissioning documentation and site reports accurately and within required timescales.
• Ensure all work complies with industry standards, company procedures and health & safety legislation.
• Provide a professional, customer-focused service on site and liaise with management on technical requirements.
