GHG Accounting Manager

Your new role

The Workplace Management GHG Accounting Manager is responsible for managing and improving Ramboll sustainability data, ensuring compliance with international standards, and supporting carbon reduction strategies. You will lead projects focused on GHG accounting and sustainability reporting.

The role could be located in any of our Ramboll offices in Finland, Sweden, Denmark, UK or Germany and has close collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Lead data collection, processing, and calculation of the organization's carbon footprint in alignment with the GHG Protocol and Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and take ownership of annual assurance process of GHG.
  • Provide insight and future perspective into carbon accounting, with best practice guidance to improve energy reduction and carbon emissions
  • Develop and maintain dashboards to visualize carbon footprint trends and progress towards internal and external sustainability targets.
  • Oversee workplace sustainability initiatives, assess their impact, and share insights across the organization.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and expertise to stakeholders to strengthen their understanding of sustainability initiatives.
  • Lead projects to improve data quality, ensuring sustainability data is accurate, insightful, and actionable.
  • Respond to sustainability-related inquiries from internal teams and external clients.
  • Improve and manage ESG software to enhance data management, streamline reporting, and improve compliance with regulations such as CSRD.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to integrate GHG reporting and sustainability data into strategic decision-making, enabling informed actions and driving measurable impact on emissions reduction.

About you

  • A bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  • At least 5 years’ relevant experience
  • Experience in carbon accounting, or ESG data management
  • Proficiency in Sustainability reporting tools, ideally with Envizi
  • Strong knowledge of GHG Protocol, SBTi, and CSRD requirements
  • Proficiency in data analysis, visualization, and sustainability software
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, work cross-functionally, and drive sustainability improvements
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly, succinctly and persuasively for key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent English skills
