Job Title: Bilingual German & English Speaking Credit Controller (Part-Time, On-Site)
Location: Huntingdon
Employment Type: Part-time, Permanent
Salary: Up to GBP21,500 per year
Hours: 25 hours per week (on-site)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bilingual Credit Controller (German & English) to join our finance team. In this role, you will manage credit control activities for German-speaking clients, ensuring timely payments, minimising risk, and maintaining strong customer relationships. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in credit control who thrives in a structured yet fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contacting business customers regarding overdue payments.
• Reviewing credit records and tracing missing debtors.
• Negotiating and setting up repayment plans with customers.
• Maintaining accurate customer files and processing payments.
• Initiating legal proceedings when necessary and liaising with solicitors.
• Handling ad-hoc finance-related tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken) essential.
• Previous experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or a similar finance role.
• Strong negotiation skills with a professional and diplomatic approach.
• Proficiency in accounting software
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
