Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a capable medical secretarial professional to support the Geriatric Medicine team. The role is full-time and offers the opportunity to uphold high service standards while safeguarding patient confidentiality.

You will work with minimal supervision, prioritise workloads, and develop skills within a supportive team, handling telephone and face-to-face inquiries from patients, relatives and staff.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 or equivalent experience required.
• GCSE English or equivalent.
• Audio/ Short hand typing qualification desirable.

Responsabilités

• Lead the secretarial team and provide high-quality administrative support to the Department and Management Team.
• Maintain excellent Data Quality and handle confidential information securely.
• Handle patient and staff communications with professionalism and discretion.
