Westgate Healthcare Ltd in Ware, Hertfordshire, is seeking a Band 5 Physiotherapist to join a multidisciplinary team at Westgate House Care Centre. The role covers a full-time, permanent position; you will assess, rehabilitate and support residents to regain independence after hospital stays.

You will lead and supervise junior therapy staff, collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Doctors and Social Workers, and contribute to comprehensive rehabilitation pathways for residents’ goals.

Qualifikationen

• Right to live and work in the UK.
• Degree in Physiotherapy.
• Current HCPC registration.
• Good knowledge of HCPC and Chartered Society of Physiotherapy codes.
• Experience with older adults is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Proactive, compassionate approach.
• Confidence to manage your own caseload.
• Interest in developing junior therapy staff.

Aufgaben

• Manage a caseload of residents requiring rehabilitation from assessment to delivery of care plans.
• Complete assessments and develop rehabilitation programmes based on goals.
• Collaborate with residents and care team to set realistic goals.
• Support discharge planning and ongoing care arrangements as needed.
• Work with health and social care professionals in meetings and reviews.
• Use physiotherapy skills to promote independence, mobility and quality of life.
• Lead and supervise junior therapy assistants and support their development.
• Share knowledge with the multidisciplinary team.
• Engage in reflective practice and ongoing professional development.
• Keep accurate clinical records in line with guidelines.
