Consortium Professional Recruitment Ltd, in partnership with an established engineering consultancy, seeks a Geotechnical Site Engineer for a UK-wide role with occasional visits to the Tadcaster office. You'll work on diverse ground investigation projects across the country, combining site supervision with technical reporting.

You’ll bring a Civil/Geotechnical engineering background, 2+ years in ground investigations, and the ability to travel.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, Geotechnical Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least two years' experience in ground investigations with soil logging and sampling.
• Knowledge of relevant engineering standards, health and safety, and CDM requirements.
• Ability to prepare technical reports and communicate with colleagues, contractors and clients.
• Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites across the UK.

Responsabilités

• Plan, supervise and deliver geotechnical and geoenvironmental ground investigations to meet quality, safety and budget requirements.
• Manage subcontractors and coordinate site activities including soil logging, sampling and site reconnaissance.
• Prepare and review factual and interpretative ground investigation reports; contribute to ground model development.
• Support feasibility studies, technical assessments and foundation design in line with standards.
• Collaborate with clients and project teams to deliver practical engineering solutions and maintain safety.
