Job summary

Consortium Professional Recruitment Ltd. are partnering with an established engineering consultancy to recruit a Geotechnical Site Engineer. The role offers UK-wide opportunities with occasional visits to the Tadcaster office, combining practical site supervision with technical reporting.

You will work on ground investigations across the country, coordinating with subcontractors and preparing technical reports, while developing your skills in line with British Standards and Eurocodes.

Qualifications

• A degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, Geotechnical Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least two years' experience in ground investigations with site supervision, soil logging and sampling.
• Knowledge of relevant engineering standards, health and safety legislation and CDM requirements.
• Proven ability to prepare technical reports and communicate with teams and clients.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and deliver geotechnical and geoenvironmental investigations across the UK.
• Manage subcontractors and coordinate site activities including soil logging and sampling.
• Prepare and review factual and interpretative reports and contribute to ground models.
• Support feasibility studies and design activities in line with standards.
• Collaborate with clients and project teams to deliver safe, high-quality outcomes.
