Job summary

Advanced Resource Managers Ltd is seeking an experienced Asset Manager to join its Geotechnical Examination Team in Stratford, London. The role plans and undertakes earthwork examinations in accordance with CIV/065 standards and related procedures.

You will coordinate with Access Planning teams, manage inspections, maintain records and ensure safe work practices. A strong background in railway assets and geotechnical examination is essential.

Qualifications

• COSS or IWA competency to work on the operational railway.
• Level 3 competency in Soil Slope Examinations (GEO-I-S) and Rock Slope Examinations (GEO-I-R).
• Experience producing high-quality examinations to CIV/065 standard.
• Experience using JBA Database and GizMapp.
• Knowledge of railway geography, network capability and Safe Systems of Work, including possessions, line blocks and blockades.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication, IT and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and undertake Earthwork Examinations.
• Complete desk-based site reconnaissance and identify suitable access strategies.
• Liaise with Access Planning teams on access, logistics and Safe Work Packs.
• Support planning of access opportunities, possessions and worksites.
• Undertake examinations safely in line with relevant Safe Systems of Work and procedures.
• Accurately record and report completed and outstanding work.
• Maintain examination records and close out rejected examinations or feedback.
