Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Project Geologist to join a collaborative geotechnical team in the UK. You will contribute to site investigations, logging boreholes, and geotechnical analysis to support foundation design.

The role offers hybrid working, ongoing training, and opportunities for chartership and professional membership fees. You will engage with blue‑chip clients and progress within a growing consultancy.

Qualifications

• Degree in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Science or related field.
• Relevant consultancy experience in geotechnical/geo-environmental projects.
• Experience in site investigations, fieldwork supervision and technical reporting.
• Knowledge of geotechnical software such as HoleBASE or GEO5.

Responsabilités

• Manage and support ground investigations and site assessments.
• Log boreholes and trial pits, supervise fieldwork and environmental monitoring.
• Coordinate soil and groundwater testing and contamination assessments.
• Undertake geotechnical analysis and support foundation and earthworks design.
• Prepare technical reports and liaise with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
