Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd. is seeking an Estimator to join a growing Civil Engineering and Geotechnical contractor focused on piling, ground engineering and earthworks across the UK.

Based in Nottinghamshire with commutable distance, you will prepare tender submissions, build up rates for labour, plant and materials, and liaise with clients and suppliers.

Salary is £45,000 - £50,000 plus a company car or car allowance and benefits, with a strong secured project pipeline.

Qualifications

• Experience in estimating within piling/geotechnical/earthworks
• Ability to interpret drawings/specifications and tender information
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Confident in preparing tender submissions and client queries

Responsibilities

• Review tender enquiries, drawings and specifications
• Prepare estimates and tender submissions for piling, geotechnical and earthworks packages
• Build up rates for labour, plant, materials and subcontract packages
• Liaise with suppliers/subcontractors for quotations and tender documentation
• Respond to technical and commercial queries during tender process
• Attend client meetings and coordinate with operations and commercial teams
