Job summary

Mace is looking to hire a Project Engineer-Geotechnical and Mining to join their rail team in York on a full-time permanent basis. As part of the role, you will manage mining risks on operations and ensure successful project delivery in alignment with Network Rail standards.

Required qualifications include being a Chartered Engineer with over 5 years’ experience, along with strong knowledge of relevant engineering processes and project management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience as a Project Engineer.
• Experience delivering works directly with Network Rail.
• Competent under NR engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage mining risks to the operational railway.
• Facilitate outside/third-party schemes.
• Attend project meetings and workshops.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards.
• Liaise with route engineers.
