Geoenvironmental/Geotechnical Engineer / Engineering Geologist – Full time, Northants

Excellent opportunity to join a growing consultancy as part of a team of geotechnical and environmental engineers based in Northamptonshire.

My client is seeking a Geoenvironmental/Geotechnical Engineer / Engineering Geologist with at least 2-3 years of experience to join their expanding team.

Main Role and Duties

1. Assist and manage ground investigation work across the UK under the guidance of Senior Engineers.
2. Work both outdoors and in the office throughout the year.
3. Perform soil and rock logging in accordance with current geotechnical standards, including laboratory scheduling.
4. Participate in various geotechnical and geo-environmental projects for external clients and internal teams.
5. Write factual and interpretative reports such as desk studies, ground investigations, earthworks, remediation strategies, and CMRAs.
6. Supervise site investigations, earthworks, and construction activities.
7. Collect geological/geotechnical data and prepare reports.
8. Manage site activities and subcontractors, prepare RAMS, and liaise with clients.

Experience, Qualifications, and Attributes

1. Minimum BSc in Geology or related field.
