Job summary

Arcadis invites you to join its geotechnical internship or year-long placement programme in the UK. You will work on real projects and clients, gaining technical training and signposted development opportunities while embedded in Arcadis’ core values.

You will be exposed to geotechnical design activities and have access to innovative digital tools for ground modelling and problem solving, helping you grow personally and professionally within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• You will be working towards a degree in a relevant subject.
• Demonstrate Arcadian skills including resilience, creativity, analytical thinking and being a team player.
• Excellent communication and ability to influence and consult stakeholders.
• Willing to travel and stay away from home when required (virtual working encouraged).

Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of foundation, retaining wall, ground improvement and earthworks designs.
• Undertake desk studies, specify and scope intrusive ground investigations, and produce interpretive reports.
• Utilise digital tools for accurate ground models and geotechnical design development.
