Job summary

g2 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Site Investigation Engineer to support a growing geotechnical programme across Yorkshire, involving ground investigation and earthworks. The role requires handling soils, logging, borehole supervision, and QA documentation across multiple sites.

The position is a 3-month contract with a daily rate plus a £150 mobilisation allowance, and the assignment is outside IR35. Travel across Yorkshire is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of site/ground investigation experience.
• Strong background in all aspects of site investigation.
• Competent in soil and rock logging, trial pits, borehole supervision, QA documentation.
• Willing to travel across Yorkshire to multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Support a programme of ground investigation and earthworks across Yorkshire.
• Log soils and rocks and manage site records.
• Assist on multiple sites and coordinate field activities.

Job description

g2 are working with a repeat client of mine who are looking for support in their ever growing Geotechnical team. Due to an exceptionally busy workload, my client are looking for an experienced Site Investigation Engineer to support a growing programme of ground investigation AND/OR earthworks across Yorkshire.

Contract: 3 month initial

Rate: agreed daily + £150 mobilisation allowance

OUTSIDE IR35!

Requirements

• 5 years' experience in site/ground investigation minimum
• Strong background in all aspects of site investigation
• Competent in: Soil and rock logging Trial pits, borehole supervision, ground investigation works, site records and QA documentation
• Happy working across multiple sites and travelling across Yorkshire as required
