Role Overview

Join our Geotechnical Engineering team in Chancery Lane, working on projects that make a real difference to London’s communities, adding value and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and review of reports, including desk studies and site investigation specifications.
• Interpretation of site investigations and production of ground investigation reports (GIR).
• Design of foundations (pad, raft, piled raft, piles).
• Detailed design of basements.
• Conduct Ground Movement Assessments, using Plaxis 2D and 3D for analysis.
• Assess building damage on third-party structures.
• Produce Interpretive Monitoring Reports.

Candidate Requirements

• Degree and/or Masters in Geotechnical Engineering or Civil Engineering.
• Numerical analysis experience is beneficial.
• Strong knowledge of theoretical soil mechanics.
• Knowledge of numerical analysis software packages is advantageous, with a preference for Plaxis ability.
