Geotechnical Design Engineer - OUTSIDE IR35 Manchester £350 - £450 per day - 12-month contract with likely extension. Long-term contract or permanent opportunity supporting the water utilities sector in technical design, safety, and quality.

This role is suitable for a Geotechnical/Civils design engineer with UK water industry experience, working on projects such as storage solution design.

Due to growth, the company seeks additional Senior Design Engineers to join their team. You will work closely with an experienced design team on diverse projects from concept to commissioning, ensuring varied and challenging work.

The role involves collaborating with clients on design projects, maintaining quality and technical standards.

Responsibilities

1. Producing calculations and industry-standard drawings
2. Preparing investigations, reports, and specifications
3. Presenting findings
4. Collaborating with the engineering team
5. Mentoring junior engineers and graduates

The Role

• Geotechnical Design Engineer - Contract or Permanent
• Creating diagrams, layouts, and detailed drawings
• Applying geotechnical knowledge, including ground investigation specifications, interpretive reports, and design reports
