Job summary

SOCOTEC UK is seeking an Assistant Geologist / Engineering Geologist to support ground investigation and geotechnical services within our Infrastructure division. You’ll contribute to planning, logging, sampling, and fieldwork, working both independently and as part of a team.

The role requires a degree in geotechnical discipline, a full UK driving licence, and good communication at all levels. BS5930:2015 knowledge is essential, and you’ll be involved in logging soils and supervising ground

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification in a geotechnical discipline.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Logging soil and rock in accordance with BS5930:2015.
• Performing in-situ testing and sampling to current technical standards.
